How It Works

Fixed wireless broadband is a high-speed internet connection that is sent via airwaves from the main access point (typically a tower supplied with fiber-optic lines) to an individual receiver (an antenna) at your home or business. The receiver is then wired to a router inside your property which will emit your WiFi network. Since the internet connection arrives to your home or business wirelessly, it's a great option for rural areas where cable internet is unavailable.
